Through his dedication to justice and equality, and because of his
aggressive defense and dedication to determining the truth, Ruben Salazar
has obtained excellent results and plea bargains, and can file motions,
writs, and appeals in the area of criminal law. Mr. Salazar has extensive
training and experience in federal deportation defense matters, often
obtaining bond and relief for many immigrant clients. Mr. Salazar also has
developed a sub-specialty in the area of post-conviction relief, with the
capacity to dismiss, expunge, or seal criminal records, and with the
experience to file specialized motions to withdraw plea, motions to
vacate criminal convictions and/or motions to modify or reduce sentences
based on ineffective assistance of counsel.
Through his tenacity and hard work, Ruben Salazar has won and settled tens of thousands of cases, earning millions of dollars in settlement and verdict recoveries. Over the last 25 years, he has been a champion for the unjustly accused and for the injured and disabled. Mr. Salazar is an experienced attorney who really cares about all his clients, and has always been proud to represent the less fortunate and under-represented, many times on a contingency fee or pro bono basis.
Mr. Salazar is a well-known, high-profile attorney and to many local citizenry he is a ardent defender to justice. It is also widely known around Fontana that Mr. Salazar has not only empowered many clients with generous settlement offers and awards, he has also helped
beautify downtown Fontana with his own commercial building, which he constructed from scratch on a vacant lot on the bustling corner of Sierra Ave and Orange Way. In his new, beautiful Spanish-style building, called
“Plaza De la Raza,” Mr. Salazar owns and operates his thriving law practice, providing quality legal services.

community, making the Law Offices of Ruben Salazar an instrument of equality and justice.
In addition to Mr. Salazar’s impressive legal and business accomplishments, he is also a proud civic leader and supporter of the many local Hispanic causes and events, for whom he proudly serves. Most notably, Mr. Salazar has formally sponsored turkey give-aways on Thanksgiving and toy give-aways during the Christmas season. He has also given “free legal clinics” at local soccer games, and routinely hands out free give-aways and legal information at his booths during national Holidays and local festivities, such as Fontana Days. By sharing his knowledge and assistance, Mr. Salazar continues to act as an inspirational role model to many impoverished youth and immigrants in the local Latino community.
